Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) contract crews will replace critical equipment on Monday, Sept. 9 through Friday, Oct. 18, affecting travel on South 14^th Street in the Town of Lantana. The work is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to ensure continued service reliability for its customers.

The work will take place Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All motorists are urged to use caution when traveling near the area and should be alert for workers.

Below is the schedule for the work taking place:

• Week of Sept. 9-Sept. 13:  Message boards notifying residence of detour will be displayed on north and south end of South 14^th Street.
• Monday, Sept. 16: Work expected to begin.
• Weeks of Sept. 16-Sept. 27: Detour/road shut down with two police officers onsite.
• Weeks of Sept. 30-Oct. 18: Flagging will be done to finish work.
